It's a fair question I think. Most of us came to the game expecting massive galactic conquest and to make a difference in New Eden, and now...A lot of us would just settle for "New Maps". "Maps" As they are should be irrelevant to the game as a whole, considering that we're supposed to be fighting on different planets/districts, and now...It's becoming more and more obvious that CCP is either downright ignoring us, or is being held captive by game-hating monkey dictators.
I honestly am starting to lose faith in the idea that they're even here, listening, working, which is ridiculous since nothing excited me more than DUST. For months, I learned everything I could about EVE. From its gameplay to its lore, so that I at least had a semblance of knowledge of what was going on in the vast universe. I went to the EVE forums, reading their Intergalactic Summit threads, and learning terminology such as "Carebear" and "Pewpew". But I feel as if I'm being let down, the game feels like little more than a more detailed version of CoD, which, is the only thing bringing me back (The knowledge that as far as fps games go, there isn't much better) but I feel like coming back is worthless since, I could just get the passive SP and come back when the game is good. If it ever gets good.
So I ask you all, my fellow DUSTers:

Refreshing. Well it's nice to know that they're still on Earth at least. With how much effort and communication they seem to be giving us I wasn't so sure anymore. |

I wouldn't jump the gun buddy, the game is still in Beta and they have HUGE plans for Dust 514, just like all the things they've done for EVE. Just give it time bud and report bugs and just be part of the community.
In due time this game will shape up into something even more epic than it already is.
I'm hoping so, I promised I'd stay at least up until Fanfest, but if nothing is done by then...Well I dunno.

It seems feasible, I understand going on vacation when your New Year rolls around, but at least make an effort to get slow progress going on the promises you've made or else...Don't be surprised when the population decreases. |
